Accuplacer

The ACCUPLACER is a computer-adaptive placement test developed by the College Board to assess students' skills in reading, writing, and mathematics. It is used to determine appropriate course placements and identify the need for any learning support. The test is untimed, but students should allocate at least 2.5 hours to complete it. Hand-held calculators are not permitted during the math sections. Testing is available at both the DeKalb and Newton campuses—no appointment needed; simply come during walk-in hours with a valid government-issued ID (e.g., driver’s license, passport, or military ID).
