Student Achievement
At Georgia Piedmont Technical College, student success is at the heart of everything we do. The Office of Institutional Effectiveness (IE) plays a key role in tracking and improving student achievement by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and self-assessment across all departments.
In alignment with our mission to promote workforce development and lifelong learning in DeKalb, Newton, and Rockdale counties, GPTC monitors student achievement using key performance indicators, including:
- Graduation Rates (IPEDS & TCSG)
- Retention Rates (TCSG)
- Job Placement Rates (TCSG)
These metrics help us assess how well students are progressing, graduating, and transitioning into the workforce—providing a full picture of institutional effectiveness and student success.
