Strategic Goals
Goal I: Promote Student Success
We will create an environment that supports students' success in every aspect of their engagement with the college.
- Implement best instructional practices to enhance student learning and foster an inclusive environment.
- Offer educational programs tailored to meet the specific needs of the college’s service area, with a focus on high-demand careers.
- Strengthen Adult Education sites.
- Develop initiatives to transition students from Adult Education to credit-based programs.
- Launch a student-centered completion campaign that encourages full-time enrollment.
- Increase student involvement in clubs and organizations.
- Improve the quality of distance education courses.
- Identify and develop programs that promote quick, efficient program completion, including distance education offerings.
- Evaluate academic program performance to ensure quality, relevance, and alignment with workforce needs.
Goal II: Foster Engagement
We will connect intentionally, both internally and externally, and remain unified in our pursuit of the mission.
Learner-Centered Objectives
- Cultivate a learner-centered culture that emphasizes learning, service, and leadership.
- Engage community partners to develop effective credit and non-credit programs that help students attain relevant skills.
- Strengthen relationships with local school districts to create seamless pathways for students.
Employer-Centered Objectives
- Conduct needs assessments and offer educational programs that align with workforce demands in the service area.
- Provide high-quality, customized contract training to enhance workforce skills, especially in high-demand career fields.
Community-Centered Objectives
- Increase the college’s visibility in each county served through social media and targeted outreach.
- Develop recruitment activities aimed at introducing middle and high school students to technical education programs, with a focus on high-demand careers.
Employee-Centered Objectives
- Foster an environment that supports and recognizes learning, service, and leadership for both full-time and part-time employees.
- Invest in professional development activities that include all employees.
- Increase opportunities for employees to engage in decision-making processes.
- Provide an exemplary orientation experience for all new employees.
Goal III: Strengthen Infrastructure
We will operate with strength and stability, ensuring our physical facilities and processes support the college’s growth.
- Implement a user-friendly institutional dashboard for daily, monthly, and annual reporting.
- Execute the 2020-2025 Master Plan.
- Seek funding sources beyond state and federal allocations, including grants, scholarships, and charitable donations.
- Improve and expand physical facilities to better serve the service area.
- Enhance information technology infrastructure to support student learning and operational efficiency.
- Strengthen campus security measures, with a focus on staffing, training, and leveraging technology.
