Crisis Special Pop. Comm. Op LETA 1101
3 CreditsThis course is designed to address the fundamental principles of communicating with special needs populations, responding to crisis situations, and emergency management. This course also includes instruction in how to properly conduct radio broadcasts in a public safety setting. This course includes practical exercises designed to test the students abilities to receive and document TTY emergency calls, coordinate multiple emergency management agency responses, and properly broadcast radio messages to first responders.
