Digital Sound Eng Movie Making RART 2100
Prerequisite: RART 13004 Credits
This course is an introduction to new media. It ncludes sound, video, animation, mp3, DVD, and compression technology. Introduction to music and sound as related to moviemaking. Students will have the opportunity to create and assemble music, sound, and video into a finished product. Introduces the basic techniques and tolls used in live sound engineering and mixing. Areas of study include set up, signal path, microphone application, hardware and outboard gear.
